Sephora Haul | Beauty Haul
A couple of weeks ago I went to Rome and picked up several bits in Sephora. I was going to a haul on my Instastories but between work and illness, I just never got around to it. I thought putting it on here would be a good plan instead of that. There's no Sephora in Ireland so going to one is always an exciting time for me. Lots of wandering around, swatching products and chatting with the staff. So after all that, here's what I decided to pick up.
Fenty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Lightening Dust/Fire Crystal
I'll been honest, I ran straight to the Fenty stand. I've never seen the brand in person and I've been dying to try out so much. With my highlighter obsession, I knew I'd be leaving with a Killawatt Highlighter. I picked the shade in Lightening Dust/Fire Crystal because it looked like it would match my fair skin tone perfectly. Lightening Dust is a soft sheen of colour while Fire Crystal is supercharged shimmer according to Fenty and I completely agree.
Fenty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer in Fu$$y
I love a good lipgloss for an everyday look. When looking through the shades, I just knew Fu$$y (being spelled as Fussy now because the dollar symbols are annoying) had to mine. Described as a "Shimmering dusty pink" it looks like a good my lips but better shade. I'd tried Fenty Glow before and it felt a little heavy and super hydrating. This feels exactly the same and has the strong vanilla scent too.
Fenty Stunna Lip Paint in Uncensored
When Fenty launched there was three things everyone was raving about. First, the foundation shade range, which is still being expanded might I add. Second, the Killawatt Highlighter in Trophy Wife, it looks like pure gold and looks beautiful on dark skin. Third, the Stunna Lip Paint in Uncensored, a red liquid lip that was meant to suit every skintone. If you know me, you'll know I love a red lip so I had to pick it up. I haven't tried it out yet but from the swatch, it looks right up my alley. I'll let you know when I've tried it out properly if it suits.
Nars Climax Mascara Mini
I've never tried a Nars product and to be honest I couldn't bring myself to pay €25 on a mascara I'm not 100% on. Thankfully Sephora is full of minis so I grabbed this on my way to pay. I'm having a good giggle at the online description. How erotic can you make a mascara? It's meant to have "explosive volume" with "hardcore lift and a softcore feel". It also has a Lash Moisture Complex and fibre, or excuse me "Ribbed bristles". You're pushing it Nars!
Sephora Collection Peppermint Hair Cleansing Salt Scrub
I've always wanted a hair scrub and this looked like a nice one to try out. Peppermint is purifying and refreshing so it's a lovely ingredient for hair products. It says it's a shampoo but I'll use it as a bonus step before washing my hair. I mainly want to try this as I imagine it'll really deeply cleanse my scalp. I struggle with dandruff and product build up makes it even worse so I'll be interested to see if this helps.
And that's everything! I spent a little under €100 and I'm delighted with my new products. I hope you enjoyed this little haul. Let me know, have you tried these products? What do you think of them? I'll talk to ye next week!
