Nyx Candy Slick Glowy Lipgloss | Makeup Review

The second I saw Nyx's Candy Slick Glowy Lip Glosses, I knew I needed them. Maybe it's my love of eating talking but makeup with food gimmicks draw me in. Candy Slick just sounds delightful, the packaging reminds me of vintage sweet stalls, I just love it.

There's twelve shades altogether and I picked up two. Watermelon Taffy, a muted bubblegum pink and Jawbreaker, a true red. There's a blue shade too that wasn't in my Boots but goddamn, I'll get my hands on it.

Candy Slick has a doe foot applicator, the best lipgloss packaging in my opinion. It picks up more product then you need as the gloss is quite thick, so remember to remove the excess product.

This is a full pigment gloss and feels a little thick but in a hydrating sort of way.  There's also a slight sweet scent to them but it dissipates once it's on. Doesn't bother me but I know some people despise this so I said I'd take note.

I'd say these glosses last about 2 to 3 hours, if you aren't eating or drinking. They come off easy enough if you are but they leave a lovely subtle stain on the lips. You can top up the colour or pop a little balm to enhance said stain.

Overall, I'd really recommend the Candy Slick Glosses. Fab pigment, feel lovely on the lips, fade beautifully, I can't say enough good things.
